Proverbs 3

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart... Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

God, I trust you no matter what because I love you and because you are good. You have never let me down. Lord, let my mental patterns and emotional reactions immediately reflect the trust I have in your goodness; love; faithfulness. I should not rely on my reactions if they are anxious or bring me unrest because those are clearly not from the Prince of Peace. Let me do everything with confidence that comes from you for your glory. Lord, even when my plans have fallen through, you plans never fall through. You have worked your plans since the beginning of the world, and I don't expect you to stop now.
